Harlee: Why I haven't post anything

I haven't did anything in one week for my blog/Harleewood. I was to busy getting crunk for my birthday (which was yesterday). Nothing wrong with celebrating for a week straight. I'm so sad all the play had to end. Eww Mondays. But I needed the rest. I party myself out and some of my friends. So you can call MJ till my next birthday. 364 days to go.

My 500th Post Talking About Nothing.

Good Morning readers. This is my 500th post (fireworks explodes, strippers come out). I feel somewhat accomplished. Harleewood.blogspot.com has been alive since May and I have 499..well now 500 posts before the year is over. (cracks henny bottle). This post is just me ranting on my accomplishments.

I started Harleewood December 21, the day before my birthday. Going to the NC State Cypher every monday recording the MCs, I needed a place to post the videos. So youtube and tumblr began this great journey. Now I have a blog, every social site for my "Movement", did some interviews, dropped 2 mixtapes, a blogger for karakhaotic.com created many videos and learning to edit them myself and whatever I wanted to do.

So for 2014...Whats do I have plan? ...I don't know I kinda just go with the flow for the most part. (its better to plan, don't be like me)

I will be a blogger for Povic Nation's blog in January.

2.14.14 I am hosting my first mixtape with another artist. She goes by Kaniq, the looseleaf freak. The Mixtape is called #IMLAMETOO. I am excited because Kaniq my nigga, so the whole promotion, mixtape, everything will be a sight to see.

I plan to drop 3-4 mixtapes next year. I have a couple events lined up and I might start back doing interviews. Again, I go with the flow.

So I want to thank you for reading at least one word of my page, shit even a whole post. I greatly appreciate it.

Harleewood: Being a Host

This past wednesday, I got the opportunity to be the host for Povic Nation's Hip Hop series part 2. The artists performing that night were The cool duo - The Koolest, The talented Jay Ro'se, The Turnt to the MAX Privy, the Dope Ty Harriz, The Smooth Swagg Jones and the Unique Brassious Monk. The turn out was great. It was bigger than the week before. My promotion had to do something with that. To be exact, I think this show has and will have the best promotion by me and the artists. I don't care if its true, I know it is. I couldnt ask for a better group of males musicians to be my guests.

Anyways

I was nervous as crap. I haven't host anything since my junior year in High school, which feels like 78 years ago. So yes, I was nervous and I didn't have a support team to say "You got this." So I was winging it. I had my note cards ready and I hung out with Rome prior, so he helped a lot. I wanted to be the best host, even tho Domo or Amino Lo hasn't host yet. I didn't want to be lame or somebody throw tomatoes at my dress.

After the first couple words were spoken. My nervous began to grow to confidence. I was like fuck it, I got the mic, everybody has to listen to me. Nyck Newz helped me a lot with the cosigns here and there. I also did a mini interview with Irap and I hate being interviewed. I did it for the NC Hip Hop, gotta represent. I guess I have to brand myself whenever and where ever I can.

I enjoyed it. I hope Povic invites me again. Thank you Povic and My lovely males performers.

I went to the fair last night with #JUDYPARKER and now I feel like ranting.

• I don't know if you heard the story about the 5 people getting thrown off the ride 'Vortex'. we wanted to see the crime scene. At first we couldn't find it because we was looking for a ride that wasn't working. This ride was going on like nothing happen and why did it have one of the longest line in the fair? Aren't people still in the hospital because of this. Why wasn't that ride shut down? Like people are crazy.
• I didn't get on anything that goes in the air just because people fell off that ride 'Vortex'. I am not playing with that.
• The fair needs to give out free stuff.
• For the Males, I think its suppose to be disrespectful to look at girls when you are with your girl. I don't know I'm single. But I can't blame you, I am pretty sexy in person.
• People need to stop staring anyway.
• WHY THE FOOD SO EXPENSIVE?!? the should only charge me extra for food I cant get on the regular. a can soda does not need to be 2$.
• Eating a Turkey Leg, I felt like a savage.
• Everybody remember when the light up pacifier was the ish to have? I think my school even banned them people had them so much.
• I had to park all the way at KMART. Longest walk coming back. we stop for a break at the movies.

This chick tried to ride the 'orbits' with her big oversized dog bear. It said no single riders, I don't think she understood it.

So Harlee (me) is now apart of KaraKhaotic.com. I am excited as finnnck. Go Harlee Go Harlee! Now look at me adding more to my plate. Now why would I go and do that? Someone told me it was called hard-work or something. I guess if it doesn't kill me then I should do it. Anyway, I will be  music writer for Kara. I am nervous and the pressure is on! Hopefully I can add some light to the underground to another platform.

So now I have to get on my ish! My first job as a blogger. I cant let Harleewood down and of course you guys. So hopefully you Harleewood supporters come check me in my new home.

Moving to Cali!

Moving to Cali in less than a month!! I am excited, nervous, happy, dramatic, and all emotions I don't know I'm feeling. So much potential: this move could really make me or break me where i do drugs and live like Amanda Bynes. Lol. Anything can happen. New place, new friends, new hoes, new money, new hoes, new weed, new hoes lol. I guess I'm excited about the new hoes and the fact Ill be in Cali smoking Cali weed. I guess that's all that matters. I'm trying to apply to this art school for film. Hope I get it fingers crossed! 

Cali! I'm moving with my best friend that I haven't really stayed with since 2011. So we can to reunite and explore at the same time. We talk to about everyday. It kinda feels like I'm just talking about it since it hasn't happen yet. But I'm been giving away so much stuff and packing. Trying to spend time with love ones and raleigh. 

Can I leave now??! My mom told me to go there wild open...soooo yeah. This Raleigh nigga bout to turn Cali out.

One of the members of #187muzik told me he made sexy songs, so he recommend this song in particular. This song is called Bongo! "Imma beat like a bongo." I am not going to front the song is sexy as fuck! I was winding in my seat when first listening to it.. It has a slow wind reggae beat. A good lapdance song. A good "we going to make sweaty sex tonight" song. HA! the song is dope though. It's a simple beat so you can really focus of the words and what he is saying. I recommend to put it in your nasty playlist for those nasty nights.

Just read an interview with Lil B the based god and he said his 2011 album being the title "I'm gay" was revolutionary! He also said that he changed the rap game. 

“I definitely think I’m a revolutionary with the human rights, the love, the progression of the human race as a whole,” he explained. “You never, ever seen an artist that had enough respect to do what I did. I titled the mixtape I’m Gay and it went against everything – fans, anybody" 

   Ummm maybe I can see why he said that but I don't think it was all that cool you named your album "I'm gay".  A lot of people are gay. Yea he probably cause a lot of reactions from it.
