On November 7, 2013 at Pinhook (Downtown Durham), The Underground presents a MC Freestyle Battle. Hosted by Hypa One. Its a cash prize and doors open at 9pm.

Event: Durm Hip hop Summit

This Saturday 8/17 at 8pm in Durham, there will be a hip hop summit with three different events. A rap battle at Pinhook, producers battle at Cashbah, and Break dancing competition between two teams while having 2 graffiti artists create art while being there at MotoCo( at the same damn time) . This event is to capture the essence of the 5 pillars of hip hop( MC, Break dancing, graffiti, Djing, and Beat Boxing. Tickets are 20$.
