10 years ago, Kanye released his debut single "Through the Wire" on this day. He record the vocals 2 weeks after a near-fatal car accident with his mom still wired shut. (where the title "Through the wire" comes from). Look at Kanye now. It doesn't even feel like 10 years.

Album: Shu - Black Politics
Shu dropped his album tonight Black Politics. This is my first actually listening to him besides his track "OG" featuring Dom, another member in the A$TROproductions. I like him. He is dope. He gave me that psychedelic that I have been craving lately. My favorites tracks on it has to be between "OG", Chronicles of a Young Nigga, and the Outro. His outro has to be best I've heard in a way.

A track off of #NWTS?. I was a little anxious to actually listening to the track. Before I could hear it, Twitter already gave it thumbs down. So, I listen...It wasn't that bad. I didn't think it would be a slow "female" song; more of an old school hip hop since the name is "WU TANG FOREVER" (BUT Don't judge a book by its cover.) I don't care too much for the song. Nothing caught my ear like my boyfriend Drake usually do.

2009: Slim Thug Thisis50 Interview "I'm not A Real Rapper"
Slim Thug admits he's not a rapper, rapping is just a hustle to him. He just do "hood sh*t" and make records every so often. This came out in 2009, so I don't know if he has made any records since. I know it's been a minute. I think a lot of rappers in the game now only rap because it is hustle, not for the passion. More rappers need to admit this and stop talking about the fake stuff.
